About Angie Manetti
Navigating California’s complex policy landscape requires more than just knowledge of the rules—it demands a strategist who understands the people, the process, and the pressure points that drive decision-making. Angie Manetti is a seasoned legislative advocate and public affairs strategist dedicated to guiding organizations through the state’s most challenging regulatory and political environments.
Angie is known for cutting through the noise to execute clear, actionable strategies. She helps clients manage risk, seize new opportunities, and advance meaningful change across industries ranging from technology and energy to healthcare and retail.
Her career spans the full arc of California policymaking. It began inside the State Capitol, working for then-State Senator Alex Padilla, where she staffed high-profile legislation like the landmark SB 270 Plastic Bag Ban. Transitioning into advocacy as Director of Government Affairs at the California Retailers Association, she led critical efforts on employer issues, environmental compliance, and consumer protection.
Angie’s approach is built on a simple philosophy: effective advocacy relies on credibility, collaboration, and meeting stakeholders where they are. This mindset has earned her a reputation as a clear communicator and a formidable negotiator capable of driving policy solutions that strengthen communities and support key economic sectors.
Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy/Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside. She is also a proud alumna of the HOPE Leadership Institute, a renowned program by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality that cultivates Latina leaders in public policy.
She resides in Sacramento with her daughter, Nyah.
